Blake Dewitt is batting about .325 and I think that leads the Majors among all rookies. Even though he was considered one of the better hitters when he was drafted, I am still suprised that he is doing so well considering that he really wasnt considered an option until the injuriies to the Dodgers in Spring Training. Nomar, Laroche, and Tony Abreu were ahead of him on the depth chart when Spring Training began. Just want to let you guys know, I am not saying that this guy is going to be a star for years to come but it has been awesome to watch how Dewitt has handled himself and taken advantage of this oppurtunity.

Dewitt is actually only hitting .279...but he is having a good season. I am not into prospecting so I couldn't say if this was expected.
