Any chance? I would worry about his profile being too large now and be a distraction, but it could happen?

how many thread are you gonna make? i mean seriously dude so many, and they are all pretty good topics too, i can barely come up with one.

I think they should fire Girardi and get Randolph, he played in the pinstripes, why not manage in them? Girardi just isn't getting it done for me, and there is no way this team is as bad as the record shows. I still think Randolph is the 3rd best manager, behind Pinella and Torre

I think Willie should just go to LA with Torre.

How many great coaches does Torre need out there to help him? He already has Mattingly, I mean, what is the point of having Joe Torre, if your having these great assistant coaches doing his job. Let the rest of the league have some good managers, damn. I could see him going to Chicago with Lou

Mattingly left the team to be with his kids and deal with his pending divorce

As a Yankees fan, I wouldn't mind having Willie in the dugout, doing whatever. As long as hes not the head coach.

Now you doBig Grin his wife showed up at his house drunk and wouldn't go home, it was bad, crazy mug shot of her too. I think Willie inherited a team with a few very good players, but also a team that played about their head last year and now they are back down to earth and someone has to take the fall in NY for that. I hope he catches on somewhere else. He seems like a great guy.

I like the idea, i hope it would happen. Although i would not be dissappointed if it didnt happen, it would just be a nice bonus. I think Willie and Girardi would make a great pair.
