Pretty excited to see how it turns out and whether or not I have a good eye. (Some were graded just for protection and I don't think they will even get 9's - USA Machado's) I likely should have removed the protective coating on the 97 Finest Griffey, anyone have experience here on that one? (All of these are not mine as a coworker joined in)

I was overall pretty satisfied with the grades. Disappointed in the Red Machado / Gold Jeter but did better than expected on others.

I likely should have removed the protective coating on the 97 Finest Griffey, anyone have experience here on that one?

I always remove the coating for Finest cards before submitting. I found that Beckett grades the surface based on what the coating shows and typically it's not in the best of condition since it was made to be removed. However I always try to acquire them with peels on them, knowing when I peel it off the surface is likely to be immaculate. I hope that helps and best of luck on your grades!
