Small pennant storage and vintage ad questions

Small pennant storage and vintage ad questions
Hey guys
I have two early 1950's new york giants baseball pennants. They are around 4" high and 15" long. Wondering what is the best way to store these? The only pennant protectors are way to big and I cannot seem to find anything smaller. Any ideas?

Second, I have a full size 2 page war time ad. Want to try and find a sleeve big enough to display it with the ad opened so 2 full pages size. Anyone see anything like this?

Let me know. Thanks
Robert

RE: Small pennant storage and vintage ad questions
I have only seen the pennant protectors you spoke of. But for the war time ad, it seems to me when we had a local card shop in the town where I worked, he got some that were about 11" x 17". They were made of the same stuff top loads are made of, but thicker, maybe a good 1/16" I don't know where he got them, but you might want to try Dave & Adam, maybe Ultra Pro directly or another good place selling supplies.
ADDED Info to previous post:

I was curious and was in a memory mode about our old local card store. Several of us had some really good times there. So I got on Ultra Pro's website and I think I found what you're looking for concerning the ad you have. If you go to Ultra Pro's website at www.ultrapro.com and then roll over toploaders on the menu bar, and then click Specialized from the pop down tab.

This will take you to about 20 thumbnails of products. They are top loads, but they're BIG sizes. It looks like the go from 11"x14" to 29" x 43". Some of the other products are smaller sizes and they have the pennant holder you talked about, but maybe could you use a top load in a smaller size?

I hope this helps you Robert. In fact, it helped me, as I have a few things that are a funkey size too. I'll have to dig them out and measure.

RE: Small pennant storage and vintage ad questions
They definitely make supersized top loaders for the ad. I keep some of my autographed 8x10 and 16x20 photos in them. I even have a huge lithograph in one and it's closer to 30" x 40". So you should be able to find one in the size you need. Only downside might be having to buy a pack of them, though you might be able to find a shop for individual ones, or possibly even on eBay.

I was looking for more of a sleeve rather than top loader. I have top loaders that fit the old life magazines but those are to small.

I understand you have particular wants, and far be it from me to cause any problems, but I really think the top loads would be better protection than just a sleeve. I must admit, I have never heard of any sleeves big enough for a 11x17 article. There could be some and I've never heard of them. Just hope you're aware of the protection value.

Thanks for the help. I am aware of the protection value. Just have a certain display I'm working on. Thanks again.
