A lot of it has to do with giving away the trade and org function for free, then charging for it.

I have only done about half a dozen trades in the last couple of years.

this site would have alot more people if the trade feature and organize were free but limited. they could even limit you to 5 trades a month free or 200 cards in organize free or whatever. they already put up a bunch of ads im sure they could squeeze some more on to every page.
