Sometimes I feel pretty dumb buying boxes ... Sure, 2010 Topps Chrome was on sale ($40/box) and I wanted a Stanton RC auto ... Which is about $50-60 on eBay ...
But no, I had to buy 4 boxes and give myself a chance at opening one .... And no, I'm not building this up for a surprise reveal at the end ...
I didn't do that bad, but I still don't have what I want.
The upside ... I got a Josh Donaldson RC Auto and a Gold Strasburg RC /50, 3 base Strasburg RCs, 3 base Stanton RCs and a ton of stuff I don't want or need.
I managed to only pull one expired redemption card (Base auto Matusz) and I got a lucky case hit USA Auto of Kyle Winkler. (Who?)
I'd have been better over paying on eBay, but at least the breaking was more fun while it lasted and there was hope of a Stanton.
Here's the good stuff ... All FT
And the better stuff that will be PC for now ... (Or I'll trade for a Stanton Auto)

I guess if I saved used tinfoil and used tea bags instead of old comic books and old baseball cards, the difference between a crazed hoarder and a savvy collector is in that inherent value.
