Back in '08, I made a decent push to try and collect the "rainbow" set of all the Detroit Tigers (Upper Deck Spectrum Swatches). I added Miguel Cabrera and Dontrelle Willis to my "get list" because the cards say "Detroit Tigers" on them, even though all of the jerseys are Marlins. I've only managed the Magglio 1 of 1 (a very unimpressive swatch too, no patch), but I think I'm going to get back to finding at least the colored parallels.
I figure no better place to start than here for some of the rarer ones, so any input or trails to pursue are greatly welcomed! Here's my collection so far. Thanks for looking.
Light Blue #/99:
Orange #/75:
Green #/50:
Red #/35 (Missing Cabrera and Willis):
Purple #/Player Number (Missing Verlander):
Dark Blue #/15:
Green Patch #/15 (Missing Granderson and Ordonez):
Light Gray Patch #/5 (Missing Cabrera, Granderson & Verlander):
Dark Gray #/1 (Missing all except Magglio):
Auto Swatches #/30 (Missing Pudge and Verlander, not believe Magglio signed):
Also, I was collecting the other Tigers GU cards in the set as well, though I'm not sure on the print runs or which I am missing at this time.
Dual Swatches:
Three Star Swatches:
Four Star Swatches:
A lot to look at, but as I said at the beginning any help is appreciated. Thanks again!
