It should definitely help, however it might not help as much as you might think. Here are the facts to consider:
1) It is a 1/1 BuyBack
2) It is a 1991 Desert Shield parallel
3) It is a Ryne Sandberg card
4) It is from the All-Star subset
5) There is a gum stain on the back of the card
Now considering each of these 5 facts, the card goes up in value for the first 3 and down due to the 4th and 5th. Now let's consider that 1987 Buyback 1/1 that sold for $30. The non-buyback card is a $1 card at best, which gives a 30x multiplier in terms of value increase for the 1/1. That might seem high, but consider that a 1983 Topps RC Buyback 1/1 of Sandberg just sold for $400, which is about 30x what a non-buyback 1/1 sells for. Here is a link to that card.

Thus if I were purely going on that I would say it's 30x the value. However you must also consider that the card has a gum stain on the back, so taking that condition grade into account it's probably only worth around $100 at best. The fact that there are a lot of Sandberg collectors will help, so it could go for more if multiple people get into a bidding war (or less if that doesn't happen). If it was me, I would list it for $150 with best offer and see if anyone bites.
