That was my thought as well! I'll definitely post an update if I send it in and get confirmation either way. For now I'm fine with it keeping my other signed balls company on the shelf.

I've had a string of luck over the last year or so with thrift store ball finds- the others were obvious though- a clear as day Rickey Henderson and a 'shot heard round the world' ball signed by Branca and Thomson. Rickey's a PC guy for me, so that'll be with me until my heirs have to deal with my sports hoard.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that it's a real Jeter auto. Good luck!
