Question Regarding Vintage Graded Pricing

Question Regarding Vintage Graded Pricing
Hey guys I've been looking into picking up some graded vintage cards of some players. Trying to figure out pricing is where I'm getting hung up. An example would be I've been looking to grab some Brooks Robinson cards in the PSA 7 grade. When looking up values it shows pricing that is a little confusing to me. For example his 1962 Topps card lists his conditional pricing of NM as $50, however his graded pricing for a 7 is $40. What am I missing here? To me it would look like a ungraded NM card will book for more than s graded NM card. Your help will be greatly appreciated as usual guys.

RE: Question Regarding Vintage Graded Pricing
I don't look at the book value. I look at recent sales prices both raw and graded in this instance in that range on somewhere like eBay.
