I assume you are referring to the card in the picture below. If that is it, then I would say you did the right thing in listing it for $1k with Best Offer. It is a 1/1 card made of pure gold, so the only thing to compare it to are other players from the same set. The only other one to have sold is the Jason Kidd which sold for $750, so I think that somewhere around that price seems reasonable. However you are probably going to have to wait a while until a big Chris Paul collector with $1k to spend on a single card sees it.

Yeah...that's it...I've been offered about $475 for it but didn't know if I should take it. It supposely has 11 ounces of gold in it and I think gold is about $60 an ounce so I don't know what to do.

May want to contact some card shops in the LA area. They can get to the word out to some of their high end collectors.

You are bound to get some lowball offers, just be patient. Don't sell it for under the price of gold, as you could take it to a number of places and sell it just for the gold.

No it isn't. It's only 14k. Not even close to pure. Less than 60% gold.
I appreciate Chicago players that begin competing within the city's sports organizations and stay with these teams throughout their careers.

Wow wish I had saw this thread sooner. I would have been a buyer on the CP3 for more than $475
