When I googled Southwest Airlines and Ian Kinsler, it turns out that their lead mechanic is named Ian Kinsler. ... (Not the MLB guy) ... Ironic? I thought I'd find some advertising campaign linking the 2 but nothing there conclusively linking the 2.
I guess if I saved used tinfoil and used tea bags instead of old comic books and old baseball cards, the difference between a crazed hoarder and a savvy collector is in that inherent value.

So my original guess of Kinsler is impossible ... He wasn't on the roster in the first place. Michael Young just might be the best choice. 2nd choice guess for me would be Gabe Kapler ... Outfielder, but not impossible I guess if I saved used tinfoil and used tea bags instead of old comic books and old baseball cards, the difference between a crazed hoarder and a savvy collector is in that inherent value.
Well, nothing definitive, but sounds like Michael Young is the best choice?
(of course the shadow is CGI'd in...but doubt the player is).

Can you post a picture of the back of the card. How do you know it's from 2000? Southwest had a promotion at a Rangers game in 2000 which was a baseball card set giveaway. However the cards look nothing like this card. Which makes me wonder if it isn't from a different year.
Collecting John Stockton, Karl Malone, Ivan Rodriguez, Gary Carter & UF player rookie year cards. Plus Jedd Gyorko rookie and prospect cards.
