Just because the seller is asking nearly 3K doesn't mean it'll sell for that much. ... But I can totally understand the associated feeling of nausea

i have given out 16 of these trouts over the past 3 years
ill be over here crying for a moment
Well, at least you made 16 customers very happy????
At least you didn't throw them away or stick'em in your bike spokes!
BTW: Sawyer's looking cuter every day, Josh! They grow up way to quickly!
Hope you're enjoying fatherhood.
I guess if I saved used tinfoil and used tea bags instead of old comic books and old baseball cards, the difference between a crazed hoarder and a savvy collector is in that inherent value.

Think the base was at $15.00 or so at the time so the value was really good, or so I thought... oh well... I usually hold too long and then get no value out of stuff.

I remember buying master cases of 2010 Platinum for like $950. Think I pulled 2 Trout autos, and I remember a Blue Ref base card. Think I may have gotten $50 ea for the autos.

I probably had 5 or 6 of them and traded them all away before the previous price jump. I understand he's a great player but the price for that card is ridiculous. No way imo could anyone believe that card would ever get close to that price. Sucks, I could have gotten some nice Goldy or Randy Johnson stuff for them!
