I'm not entire sure "playing" is the right word there all by itself. I'd change it to "playing a child's game with lots of nap time". There are more rules protecting players in the NFL than Pop Warner. Considering the WSJ proved the average player is actually only "playing" less than five minutes per game while he just stands around the rest of the three hours and fifteen minutes on the air, these guys are indeed pretty darn lucky.
