I was just looking up his stats again. so in 24 years

14 out of 24 Years he had 140+ hits and only 4 year did he have more than 170 in a season. He averaged around 60 runs a year less than 20 doubles and as you said around 3 home runs. The more I look at it I would save HOF seems a bit of a stretch.

And to think the prices of his cards right now is even that much more amazing. BTW, shocking that the HOLY GRAIL is still at $3,500. Seller was wise to put a reserve on that card. made himself an extra 2K because of it. Matter of fact he was foolish not to put a higher reserve. LOL

It was going to go for fairly large money. There has been a bidding war between 2 collectors for the last couple of years on his 1/1's. I think sometimes people have their items bid up realizing that these 2 individuals are paying tremendous amounts of cash trying to out spend each other.
