How to tell the difference between these two cards?
Any help would be appreciated!!

This is the Marino I have and not sure which version it is.

From Beckett Football Price guide 13 (up to 1995 381295064688 )
This 20 card set was randomly inserted into packs at a rate of one in 37 packs (one per box with wiggle room in case there was not one, there were 36 packs in a box). Card fronts are die cut in the shape of a crown with holographic or flat gold foil. The players name matches with the same holographic or flat gold foil. The flat gold foil then had a 2X multiplier. Without moving the card, I'm guessing you have the holo. If you go to COMC.com, and the mess they made of their database until collectors fix it, search 1995 Pacific Dan Marino, there are six photos, it's impossible to tell for sure, the last one does look like flat gold compared to the others, and when comparing your scan.

The regular version has a refractor like gold foil (i.e. what Pacific called Holo-Gold). The flat version has a regular gold foil that doesn't have refractor like quality to it. It's tough to say from the picture, but yours looks like the regular version.

You have the holographic gold foil version. The flat gold version, like ginge01 said, is not holographic at all. Think of how the gold stamp is on old school Action Packed. Just plain gold foil embossed. Only reason why I know is because my brother has a complete set of the flat gold die cut set and a handful of the holofoil version. I like how that set looks. Nice and simple.

Thanks everyone. So it's safe to say I have the holofoil version. Let's hope the one I just got on the bay is the flat gold version. Lol.
