RE: 1 box of Superbreaks UPDATE WITH PIC :)
I PC Jeter.
That gold card I couldn't even trade for Jeter inserts or sell it at 20.00

I'm happy with the Jeter. The corners are actualy nice.

Ultimately what matters. And for the record, I would MUCH rather have the Jeter SP.

Guessing the slab is just part of their encasing services.
PC Players: Alex Bregman and Christian Yelich. Looking for any and every I don't have.
Other Players: Luis Ortiz Jr., Rowdy Tellez, Touki Toussaint

while i definitely want a sp jeter more than a gold 1/1 of a no-namer, just food for thought:

a BGS 8 jeter sells for about 75-110 dollars. if this card was a 9, it would have been graded

so, if we can look at my superbpox vs repack thread:

as a replacement for them making an absolutely awful box. they gave you a replacement in which they still doubled their money

that's impressive

True as that may be. I ended up with something I actually wanted/liked.
Plus we all waste money on boxes just to get some crap hits lol.

I'll try to get a scan of the card later. Over all I'm happy. Smile

It's a way for the re-pack, super box, etc companies to dress up their product. They send entire raw lots of cards to be authenticated, ask for the cards that are graded higher than X to be given the appropriate header and the lower grades to be given the generic header, making the pull more appealing to the purchaser and not having to waste any of their inventory because their cards were graded too low.

I see ever you're saying jacoby.

As for the slab. I thought about sending it in. But you make a valid piont on why it might not had been graded. Idk tho don't plan on selling do I might anyway lol
Afyer looking at the Jeter more. It does have a few surface blemishes.
I'm still happy with it tho. I'll just leave it be in the case Smile

Agreed, 93 SP Jeter is an iconic card and I get that you really like it, but that is a bullsch!tt replacement for that box. And sorry but I don't believe that you couldn't trade the Gold 1/1 for $20 worth of inserts. You were not looking hard enough. I still think that card could've pulled in triple digits if listed on ebay

The gold card in triple digits on eBay? None looked no name guys were selling in 30ish area.

As for trading selling out right trust me I tried. Might notta been on here. Bit it was up for a good bit before I sent back.
Honestly is rather have this Jeter. I PC Jeter son it worked out well for me.
Another thing. If you hit a bunk box from topps. Would they let ou send it back and send you a replacement? Nope. So in happy in the end of this deal.
