Don't buy those sucker boxes!
The TriStar chase box that contains 15 packs of (garbage) cards from the early 90s.
$20 and nearly EVERYTHING was dumped. Here are the 4 best cards.
I got lucky with these, but still ended up at a net loss
I guess if I saved used tinfoil and used tea bags instead of old comic books and old baseball cards, the difference between a crazed hoarder and a savvy collector is in that inherent value.

Thanks for the heads-up DrM! Maybe it's best to use those for an un-opened pack collection. I myself steer clear of any re-pack products. (I know it helps fill the need to rip though)

Ouch. I don't think Streaky was on your side with that one.

RE: Don't buy those sucker boxes!
I remember a few years ago there was a guy on youtube that was busting some tristar products that contained a handful of 90's raw garbage, and one BGS or BCCG graded card. If I remember correctly, it was usually of a hofer or star, but absolutely valueless.
I would never buy any tristar products. But I do like Phillies_joe's idea about keeping the packs unopened.
