He didn't lose that card. He just didn't want to sell it to you for what you won it for. This is why I stopped buying on eBay years ago. Sorry that happened to you. I'd be mad too.

Here is the email he sent me today.

There's the key to it all 'or I can get you another card in your price point' which translates to 'nah, you ain't getting my superfractor for $100 ... but I'll replace it with a card I think is worth $100 instead' .... Total BS. I'd report him after he relists it ... Take back your money and don't deal with him again!

And as for this seller ... What a doosh.

A couple of years ago I put some hand-collated Topps football sets on the bay.

The 2004 and 2005 sets went for about $15-20 apiece, and I had put 7.99 to ship them.

The 2006 set went for ... wait for it ... 99 cents.

And because the actual shipping was like $11 per set, I actually ended paying someone $3 to take my set away from me.

But you live and learn.
