Long story, but after reading another thread about Tarasenko not signing and Panini offering replacements, I though I would chase them up about the 2013-14 Crown Royale Rookie Silhouette Ruby (1 of 1) redemption I pulled some time ago. It seems he is not expected to sign, as they immediately offered compensation in the form of replacement product, which seemed fair as how can you replace a 1 of 1 on a like-for-like basis?

I tried to get some National Treasures out of them, but they weren't falling for that, so in the end I opted for Totally Certified, which has been my favourite product this year (I'm a sucker for colours and numbered parallels).

Anyway, a big box arrived containing several TC boxes, and after losing an argument with the UK Customs people that the package was a redemption for an earlier purchase which I had already paid duty on so I didn't need to pay duty on this one (I was always going to lose that one, but it was worth a try), I made a start.

Just getting back on a couple of comments/questions:

Brandon - Panini sent 5 boxes, and I think their RRP was around $75/box, so they valued the card at $375 (pleased with that!)

Randi - trade ongoing, and I'm looking forward to all the Pens you're going to pull from your incoming CR boxes!

Dana - Panini didn't actually say that Tarasenko wasn't signing, but they immediately offered compensation (even though the redemption request was only a couple of months old), and other posts on here seem to suggest that Panini at least are not waiting any longer for him - maybe UD can wait a little longer.

Anyway, in support of Panini's good effort I have ordered a few more boxes of Totally Certified, so watch this space!
