Eh, not really a big deal. Lame looking cards? For my own personal tastes yes but, seeing as major companies already do almost the same thing with buybacks, I have no problem with some random Joe Schmo giving it a try with cards that I highly doubt many on here would want otherwise.

No, it's not really a big deal. My issue is the sellers of these cards usually try to get a premium for them selling them as if a major brand was re releasing them. They dont tell the usually unaware buyer that the card was altered by a non licensed, non affiliated company or that the individual(s) altering the cards may not even be an actual company. They are preying on younger or less knowledgeable collectors. How much do you think this card was originally sold for to some poor kid before this dealer ended up buying it for 5?
