I prefer Beckett too!! I buy PSA 10's and cross them over to BGS. I wouldn't cross a PSA 8. There's someone on here that crossed PSA 9's and got BGS 8's & BGS 8.5's. So think about what a PSA 8 would get.....

That's EXACTLY what I'm afraid will happen. By default, Beckett's 10 is much more valuable than PSA 10 simply because there is exponentially less of them.

I struggled with the idea of what brand will grade the 7 cards I just sent in. I chose Beckett because the grades, imho, are more valuable for my PC. If I was looking for 9's and 10's to sell, I would have sent them to PSA.

Sadly, I'm most likely going to resell my PSA 9 Topps Mattingly, BCCG 10 David Robinson, BCCG 10 Griffey Jr "The Rookies, PSA 10 Griffey Jr. Score Traded and the PSA 8 Bowman Tiffany Griffey Jr because I want the best cards in my collection...and second best just isn't satisfying enough.

The best part about collecting is getting to share my hobby with you guys. My wife doesn't understand it and prefers me to put my money into silver instead of cards. However, she respects that I'm somewhat reliving my childhood at an adult's expense.

Graded Rookie Card Collector with a Preference for BGS 9.5 and PSA 10.

Just keep in mind, a BGS 10 (Pristine) and a PSA 10 (Gem Mint) are two different grades. The equivalent of a PSA 10 is a BGS 9.5 (Gem Mint) and a BGS 10 is an assigned grade higher.
