That stinks! But like Gtbrian23 said, contact Topps. They usually will send a random insert of the same kind to make up for the misfire. Just make sure you save the box, they usually ask for the UPC.

I have the box and all the packaging but my LCS didn't give a receipt and topps.com said I need copy of sales receipt

your LCS should be able to recreate a receipt for you. I know mine did when I was missing a hit

I'm not really too worried about it, you win some and you lose some, just put a deposit in my karma bank, now I'll have a box with an extra hit, plus I pulled the blue refractor auto of Appel out a rack pack so it's ok.

That sucks man, and I know just how you feel. I busted open three 89 UD wax boxes (1 low, 2 high) and not a single Griffey. In fact, the only decent card, in my opinion, was the ONE Randy Johnson rookie I pulled from the three boxes. I then opened up a fourth high number box and pulled two Griffeys and two Johnsons. I won't do that again. I cou've bought two BGS 9.5 Griffeys for what I paid in boxes and postage.
