Question about a set
1996 UpperDeck Diamond Destiny
Looks like there is 40 in the set and was wondering if these are worth a crap. lol A guy told my brother they are in the 3.00 to 30.00 rnge which we dont believe lol Any info would be appreciated

Yeah, those were I believe a retail only insert and they are not all that common to find especially if you find the silver or gold versions of the stars.

The bronze version is pretty common.

It's the silver and gold which are harder, especially Jeter.

A Jeter silver psa 10 sold for over $300 while a gold psa 10 went for almost five grand!

I remember pulling the Ripken bronze back in 1996 from a Walmart pack. I remember these inserts were retail specific and took months if not longer to get into Beckett's price guide. The prices you quoted aren't that far off for the basic bronze cards, but like others have said the silver and gold versions have much higher values.
