I am tired of waiting for redemptions of Letang and Malkin to sign these cards they are the only 2 I am missing from this set. I got real upset when I seen that the contenders patch cards of Letang and Malkin were pre signed and inserted in the packs. I have debated selling or trading away the other 118 cards what do you guys think?

Am I missing something? You have redemptions for these cards, but are upset to find out that these were presigned and inserted in the packs? Did they just not get them all back so some are live in packs and others were redemptions? Are these all hard signed cards - if so, it might explain why the delay.

Likely a dumb questions, but have you contacted Panini?

I usually only wait the shortest amount of time for redemptions and then request replacement cards, again I have not tried to complete a set this way. In your scenario - I personally would wait. The "fun" of the hobby is chasing down cards. Yes it is frustrating at times, I can't say that I have waited that long for a redemption for a set, but that unfortunately is the way the system works.

Yes I have been contacting panini for over a year. The 11/12 Contenders set has the outstanding redemptions of Malkin and Letang. But the 13/14 contenders set they were signed and put into packs. What I am upset is they got them to sign new cards before fulfilling the old cards.

That just isn't cool. I can understand how you are upset they have not been able to fulfill the original cards, yet newer series cards have been completed. So what happened to the original cards? Who has them? Where'd they go?

Just doesn't seem right, good luck. I would hang in though and not blow up the set, not yet at least!

That set looks way to cool just to blow it up and start selling/trading. I'd hang on to it.

First of all, That's a really sweet looking set.
Second of all, that blows that they have put them on a new set and its doubtful those redemption would ever be filled than if its that long ago and they already have new products out.
third of all - I'd be blowing up panini and venting your frustration to whoever is on the other end of the line. You built your entire set around the fact that these redemption would be honored. you spent a lot of money (i'm assuming but heck, they wont know) to obtain the set with only being let down. I wouldn't stop till i had something as bad ***** as letangs girlfriends signed panties or something like that. Everyday i'd call. I'm not one to be a rollover. They will get tired of talking to me and just start sending stuff my way. Hopefully it'll be as sweet as the finished set
Good luck though with whatever you chose to do. I like the way the set looks and is it worth your effort to sell it off?
