Hello Everyone,

My name is Stephen Laroche and I am pleased to be the new editor for Beckett Hockey and Beckett Basketball. I wanted to take a moment to formally introduce myself to users of the message boards and look forward to interacting with you.

As a bit of background, I spent the last decade working with In The Game and was pleased to be a part of many successful products. I began writing for Beckett a few months ago and previously wrote for other hobby publications from 2000 to 2004.

A lifelong collector, I look forward to sharing my knowledge with you and encourage you to present any questions about the hobby to me. I will do my best to answer them. I am also open to hearing about your story ideas and can also be reached at hockeyeditor@beckett.com

I have been actively collecting hockey cards since the 1981-82 season and the primary focus of my collection is vintage. However, I do collect cards from the modern era as well.

Susan did a great job and will be missed. But I must say we're all very lucky to have Stephen Laroche on board. A true fan and collector. He brings a real objective passion to the hobby and knows the industry very well. If anyone can bridge the gap between the business of the hobby and the grassroots it's him.
