i have another question lol probbly wont be my last one just trying to get back up to speed with the hobby. I recieved a PSA 8 1987 Roger Clemens. I know cards right out of the pack are considered 8 with that said should I sell the card for around book value or can I get a higher price being it is graded and verified an 8

the late 1980s cards and rookies arent valued at a lot whatsoever, even if they are a gem mint 10 maybe a few rookie cards would be worth a little bit something i dont think youll get higher for it.

How about newer cards graded 8 or 8.5 is there a premium for a verified grade 8 or 8.5

not really on newer cards as there are sooo many. Lots of 9-10's out there.

Try shooting for some rookie cards like before 1980 and stuff, it seems that those cards seem to be more rarer and more valuable as well
