July 7th, 2015 Update


I never really expected to be updating this thread again, but had a little surprise. CP3 finally signed!! I finally was able to acquire the CP3 red auto! It gives me just a little hope that maybe someday, Lazar Hayward will sign his.

When I first got back into the hobby, the first boxes I opened were Preferred, and Season Update lol. But I managed to hit a Patch booklet and a Kobe Red auto out of Preferred. The design wasn't anything spectacular but the checklist was loaded, plus lots of SP. This was the first auto set I have ever attempted. I already completed the 2012-13 Red Auto set, and now the 11-12 is complete just in time for me to chase the 13-14 lol. I am really hoping this years checklist is better than last years though.


Anyways, here they are and thanks again Jeff, would never have finished it without you. The only two cards that I don't have, were never made. The Lazar Hayward /99, but I have the redemption, and the Chris Paul /10, but I do have the Blue version /5 which was made for whatever reason. I apologize I don't really have a way to do better pics, I need a new camera mine wont capture all of them spread out.


These 7 were the last additions, I just didn't feel like scanning everything again so they could all be in order lol.

I really like mix of old school players with new names that this set provides.
The only thing that seems odd to me is the photo that they chose for Stephen Jackson, when all the other are action shots.

Thanks man, the mix and of players is really what drew me in to this chase. I wondered about the Jackson too lol.
