2014 Topps Opening Day Break (w/scans)
Broke a box of Topps 14 Opening Day with my 3 year old son today. Although not the most exciting hobby box to break, we had a blast!

Here are our mascots. My son considers Wally our hit Smile

Some Break-Outs and some Blue /2014's:

More Blue /2014's:

And our "Hits". Pretty happy with the auto and Jeter /2014 blue!

It was nice to find a box even my toddler could dig! Also had some nice base cards. Overall we are happy and looking forward to a box of 13 Panini EEE for the weekend.

Thanks! It was quite enjoyable, esp for the price.

It's probably the best bang for the buck. The Jeter Blue is BV very high, and a decent auto! The kids love the mascots. My youngest gets very excited about completing a mascot set! I almost have all the Stars cards, which I really like.
Keep your eyes open ... There are base card parallels thrown in ... Check cardboard connection for a visual guide. Most are easy (press conference photo) but there's a Pedroia that I almost missed. If you need base or inserts, I've got a bunch of dupes listed in ORG.

I guess if I saved used tinfoil and used tea bags instead of old comic books and old baseball cards, the difference between a crazed hoarder and a savvy collector is in that inherent value.

Thanks! Yeah, I saw some of those parallels. Going to double check the piles and make sure I didn't miss on. Theres a Mo tipping his hat vs. running to the mound, amongst others.

Yeah, that Rivera is one of the cards I'm chasing. Jose Fernandez hugging a Dino, is the other! I just busted a blaster and picked up a card of yours that I wanted! Got the Blue Jeet, today!
