I thought cards are only worth what somebody will pay for them. If they are only worth $20 a box, that's the seller's problem. The guy got a fantastic deal, and I think it is no different than a shop offering $200 to a non-collector for a shoe box full of star cards from the 50's. It happens, and I think you made out great and should trade for some PC stuff if so desired.
Just my take.

This sounds a lot like those stories on various sports card message boards of "I bought a 24 pack retail box for just $3.99 at Target." Because the cashier scanned the wrong tag and charged me 1 pack versus 24 packs.

Yeah have to agree with others here that the goods were probably stolen. Plus you get this at a Flea Market.
