I guess if I saved used tinfoil and used tea bags instead of old comic books and old baseball cards, the difference between a crazed hoarder and a savvy collector is in that inherent value.

You are Probably correct. It's more than likely just an indication of Mantle being in the (once exclusive) 500 HR club. But just wanted to make sure by asking ... I never like to assume.

If I remember correctly I think mantle's 500th HR ball is in his restaurant in down in brick town in Oklahoma City. I maybe wrong though... I only ate there once the place is so damn expensive but if have never been I highly recommend anyone to go. I will be going back... When? I have no clue but it helps that wife is from Oklahoma. There is so much stuff in the restaurant it's hard to remember everything, but the place amazing!
