Hey all

I'm primarily only a hockey collector, and have to admit I know very little about baseball and baseball cards. I did find a card though, and I'm posting because I can't seem to find anything about it on the internet (including ebay.) It appears to be a 1982 Topps Cal Ripken card, but it has rounded corners with a thin gold foil surrounding the edges on the front of the card.

On the bottom back of the card it says:
"Hobby Only" Lt. Ed.# 25,807 / 50,000, and the "25,807" is hand written.

Anyway I don't see it on ebay, or anywhere else on the internet for that matter, and am wondering if anyone can shed any light on this card.

I've never seen one of those, but it's a reprint of his most sought after rookie card, 1982 Topps Traded. Hopefully someone else will be able to give you more info

does it feel like porcelain? if so, it was sold through qvc. they usually sells for 5-8 dollars

I'm wondering if it might not be a reprint? The only date printed on it is 1982.
