A couple years back I bought a box of 2011-2012 Upper Deck SP Authentic basketball cards. I found a couple of autographs in the box, but unfortunately the only card my son was even excited to see was missing the autograph that it was promised to have.

It has the congratulatory message on the back and the blue tint on the front. From all I could tell it was likely a mistake, but I couldn't even get a response from Upper Deck. This has drawn me back from the hobby. I was a frequent buyer so it was pretty disheartening to have nothing done about it. Haven't touched a basketball card since then.

Still to this day I sit here with the useless, unautographed card.

Anybody have any suggestions as to what I should do about it? Or am I just out of luck with this valueless card?

I would keep on insisting with Upper Deck. Not much else you can do, I think.

You could google Jimmer's representatives, explain the situation with pics like you've done here, and see if they'll get it signed for you.

I met him at a signing before his rookie year in Sacramento and he was a very good guy — I'm willing to bet if he hears about it he'll take care of it.
