Update:

I heard from Eddie today - he is still in the hospital waiting for some hurdles to be cleared before his surgery.

He seems to be in pretty good spirits, especially when he found out I won a case of cards on CnC a few weeks ago. He has already asked what I will be doing with them - the answer to that is I don't know yet.

I would like to thank you all for the well wishes and just wanted to let you all know that I did let him know that there were many posts to my initial email. It is nice to know that the trading community builds strong enough relationships that you all take the time to respond.
