'99 SPA hand numbered not printed...why?!
I've seen them before, but don't think I ever figured out why they're out there. Anyone know, or have an idea? I searched the forum, and google didn't return anything that helped.

Back then some companies didn't reprint the factory numbers. I've actually replaced 1999 SPA cards back in the day so it's a normal thing for any card that was a replacement. Can't remember exactly which companies did this but it wasn't just SP Authentic. Took a while for them to start reprinting factory numbers.

Awesome, thank you! Wanted to make sure it wasn't some fake.

I remember it back on 1998 SPA also, in fact, I consider those cards to be worth considerably less than the original... it really takes away from the eye appeal. That was around the time when people realized what a Peyton Manning RC would go for in a PSA 10 so they'd send them back for replacements only to find them hand numbered... I would take an original 8 over a hand numbered 10 any day.
