My First Boxes of 2014 Topps

My First Boxes of 2014 Topps
Just came back from Wally World and picked up my first boxes. Two blasters and one hanger. Confused about all of the variations of the borders.. Wal Mart Blue and Gold I realize, but the Bright Red and yellow I'm confused. No numbers on the back to state the number of. The Gold has 2014.

The yellow parallel seems to be found in retail only and only in hanger packs & blasters.

The red foil parallel replaced the green foil from last year.

There is also a non foil green parallel found in the rack packs only.

Look out for a sparkle variant on Mike Trout's foot, Joe Mauer's helmet and there's another ... Oh yeah, McCutchen's bat handle.

I guess if I saved used tinfoil and used tea bags instead of old comic books and old baseball cards, the difference between a crazed hoarder and a savvy collector is in that inherent value.

Machado, Myers, Jeter and Trout are some really nice parallels to pull.
Collecting John Stockton, Karl Malone, Ivan Rodriguez, Gary Carter & UF player rookie year cards.  Plus Jedd Gyorko rookie and prospect cards.
