It seems more this year more than any other it will be wise to hold on to those undrafted or obscure players. After looking through auctions and breaks it seems that there will be a good number of base auto short prints under 100 copies. I am predicting that Chance Warmack and Richard Sherman will be the rarest of the base autos with possibly only 25 copies. Many of these players have many autos currently available but they are of the Playoff ticket /99 or Cracked Ice /25 parallels or photo parallels which we have a known print run of. The base non photo variations autos will be the rarest auto for most of the short prints. This list may be off do to collectors waiting for print run lists and limited time of product on the market.

I see Mingo on the list, and all Ive seen is redemptions. It seems every year an LSU player is a no signer, like Rueben Randle and Stevan Ridley, both of which Im STILL waiting on!

Maybe Ogletree will be a retail exclusive - and not necessarily a SSP (zero eBay sells - like Blair Walsh last year for UGA).

I think Jarvis is a SSP - 1 sale on eBay only.

Mike Gillislee is not a short print that is just a photo variation. And Alan Bonner is not a short print. Their are some players that the photo variation has a shorter print than the non photo variation but it seems that the difference in print run of photo variations and non photo variations isn't that huge. I would think a non photo variation auto of a player with say 500 copies might have a print run of 350 photo variations which is not a big difference. Unlike Topps, contender photo variations are common. Still waiting to see if there is a difference between retail and hobby which might explain why alot of these players have so few cards showing up. If some of these guys have retail only versions than it's going to take longer to have people post them.

This isn't an official list. I think the OP is just crunching his own numbers and keeping track of recent sales.

So far I predicted 99% of the short prints. Just 200 copies instead of 100 I predicted. And was a little surprised at how many photo variation short prints, but I know a few guys had photo variations shorter than base version just hard to keep track.
