Probably been asked before, but how do I place a value to trade cards with no BV? Having some difficulty with my short print cards.

You could go by recent eBay sales ... but you also should factor in who the player is and if he's hot/still relevant at the moment.

Case in point ... when '09-10 Prestige basketball came out I pulled a Karl Malone parallel/10.

I assumed a hard core Mailman collector would pay $15-25 for it, so I put it on the bay ...

Nope, 99 cents ... because he was retired and not in high demand at that point.

(I wish I would have just held on to it, obviously.)

But if you're trading, say, Nick Foles for Cam Newton or Colin Kaepernick or whatever, you shouldn't have any problems trading similar "caliber" cards.

Auto for auto, jersey for jersey, insert for insert, etc.
