RE: Question for the Emmitt Folks
Judging by an auto I have of his that I know is authentic I would say that one doesnt look real. To me it looks forced and not fluid like someone was trying to copy it. I am by no means an expert and just going by the one real auto I have seen
Here is a pic of the auto I got in his book

At first glance it looks fake to me. I also compared it to several known authentic autos of Emmitt and this one definitely stands out as being fake for several reasons.

Was it the 2's? I kept thinking I read somewhere that his 2's have a fish look.

For me it was the 2's and the E. The one you are looking at as almost no indention

Comparing that to the auto cards I have, I say it looks fake.

RE: Question for the Emmitt Folks
I would have to say pretty fake to me. Like someone said earlier, it looks forced for sure and not fluid. At 1st glance, the whole auto looked suspect. The "E", the "J" the "S" and "22". Over time, his auto may have become a little shorter, minus all the squiggles in between, but the "E" "J" "S" and the "22" always have been consistent
Here is an example of one of his early autos. I got this in person at a show his 2nd year on the Cowboys
