TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, I WAS GOING OVER SOME OF MY HOCKEY COLLECTION AND NOTICED SOME CARDS, 1995 PINNACLE WITH THE 1:00 O'CLOCK CORNER LITERALLY MISSING, OR ANGLED? WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE HAD ANY INSIGHT?

1994-95 and 1995-96 pinnacle had two parallels: artist proof and rink collection. neither is die-cut. so that eliminates main sets and parallels.

on to insert sets:

95-96
mcdonalds and clear shots are not die cut. nor is first strike or full contact. global;s gold, masks, and roaring 20's also not die cut

so, check 94-95:

checked 1995-96 and 94-95: none of the main sets, parallels nor inserts are die cut

do you have pictures? player name and number? more info makes this easier

Stupid idea, but could they be promo/show cards of some kind? I know there was a set of Donruss that came out around that time, and the Press Proof Parallels had a star shape cut out...

There's a 10 card hobby samples set, look up "1994-95 Pinnacle I Hobby Samples" and it'll list the players on the 10 cards (actually #10 is a header, no player), sounds like that's what you have.
