about a month ago, i sold a high dollar item on ebay and sent it with signature confirmation. the tracking has last been updated on 10/15 with "Delivery status not updated" after it was Out for Del. It's been almost a month and its still sitting there, the buyer hasn't attempted to contact me.

Does USPS have a rule where after 30 days it gets sent back or anything like that? and if that did happen, would i be responsible for processing payment back?

From my experience...if it said out for delivery and then delivery status not updated...and you haven't heard any complaints, it was probably received by the buyer and is just a quirk with the USPS system

However, with this it sounds like you might be dealing with a buyer who hasn't signed and picked up the item from his P.O. after delivery was first attempted?? You should try to investigate a little and see what you can find out
