Quite Lucky Story

Quite Lucky Story
I felt the need that I had to share this story!
So last week I participated in my first group break,
I purchased two random spots and was lucky enough to get two
good teams: the Bulls and the Warriors.
Of course, I didn't set my expectations too high cause
group breaks are a hit and miss type deal.
In the last box we pulled a redemption, a Dennis Rodman AU (for the Bulls) The terrible part being it was a 2005-2006 box..
The guy running the group break said he'd be happy to send it to
me and I could try to work something out with UD or he could just give me a couple cards and packs.

I chose the latter,
First he sent me the inserts and base cards of the Bulls and Warriors.
Then he sent me this card:

Then this nice card (at this point I was content):

Finally he sent me two Hobby Packs of Past and Present.
And this is what I pulled!

Just to do some simple calculation,
BV from just those three cards minus the base is about $230
I paid only $20 dollars to get into the break, I think I got my money's worth!

Thanks for reading!

WOW! Nice luck indeed! The odds are pretty high just to pull those cards let alone both!!

Good stuff! You made the right choice as Upper Deck refuses to honor or compensate in any way an expired redemption.. Pulled a Scottie Pippen Inkredible Inkscriptions card a month or two after redemption expiration and the basically told me to shove off. Love their licensed cards, hate their customer service.

Sounds like your guy runs a good, fair break.
I appreciate Chicago players that begin competing within the city's sports organizations and stay with these teams throughout their careers.
