baseball card trivia
Just for giggles, see how many you know.
It's a mix of super hard and easy.

1. What was the original (pre production) name of fleer ultra?

2. Which celebrity was hoarding the 2006 topps Alex Gordon card?

3. What year did a topps traded set first get issued in packs AND sets?

4. Not counting Refractors, how many different cards do Joe mauer and David Wright have in 2002 bowman chrome?

5. Barry Larkin and will Clark were on the 1984 Olympic team but WEREN'T in the 1985 topps u.s.a. subset. Why not?

Always trading for Barry Larkin. Also looking for Joe Burrow and Tee Higgins.

Will consider trading for other current/past Cincinnati Reds and Bengals.

1. What was the original (pre production) name of fleer ultra?.......elite until Donruss threatened them with a lawsuit. No actual fleer elite branded cards were made, just on advertising.

2. Which celebrity was hoarding the 2006 topps Alex Gordon card?.........Keith Olbermann

3. What year did a topps traded set first get issued in packs AND sets?........1985 traded was test marketed in pack form and mass marketed in the traditional set form.

4. Not counting Refractors, how many different cards do Joe mauer and David Wright have in 2002 bowman chrome?.........tricky one for sure. Again, not counting Refractors, there were two different made of each. The common autograph we all know and a very very rare "facsimile" autograph which was never meant to be issued, yet found their way into packs.

5. Barry Larkin and will Clark were on the 1984 Olympic team but WEREN'T in the 1985 topps u.s.a. subset. Why not?.......They weren't allowed due to eligibility.
