I just thought I'd share some cool memorabilia I picked up on eBay in the past week. I love collecting vintage Braves memorabilia, and these Spahn items were too hard to pass up!
#1 - Originally from the estate auction of Warren Spahn, a 1973 letter written to Spahn from Braves athletic trainer David Pursley after Spahn's induction into the HOF, which congratulated him on the accomplishment. This is the first item in my own collection that was owned by a player, and the subject matter is just really cool, especially on the Braves letterhead and envelope. I got this for $14 including shipping.
#2 - 1960's Whirly Bird Play Catch Game, with Spahn's image for a celebrity endorsement on the front. I thought this was a cool vintage toy, and would be a neat addition to my Braves collection. I got this for $12.50 including shipping.
