Received a trade offer from NATEJEFFRIES on 07-22-13
Accepted the offer on 08-05-13
I shipped 08-08-13
He received my cards per DC on 08-12-13
...advised he was not satisfied with the condition of 1 card on same date. I immediately apologized and offered to send a replacement of his choice (I sent approx a dozen trades, ~200 cards that week, don't specificially recall the card's condition, but that doesn't matter as I have no excuse for letting one get by, and have no problem making it right.) It should be noted I sent him 7 cards at nm/m rating, $18.25
And he was to send me 4 cards at "mint rating", $19.50.
So clearly the trade was already in his favor.
I have over 4x his feedback but being that he has 50+ trades I did not ask him to send first, and (wrongfully) assumed he would send same time as is the unwritten expectation.
After several repeated attempts at a status update of the trade and no response and still having not received his end, I contacted Floydtown on 09-01-13 with the specs and he told this trader to send his end.
NATEJEFFRIES then sends me a new trade offer, requesting $23 in cards to replace the unsatisfactory $7.50 card he already received. I told him straight up no was I agreeing to that, and furthermore would not be sending him anything until I received my end. I also gave him the opportunity to return my original cards. He replied stating he "doesn't use the OPG" and what are the values. He then requested 8.35 in cards to replace the 7.50 card on a trade that was already in his favor to begin with, also now having had my cards for 22 days without sending his end of the deal. I again told him I was sending nothing until I received my end.
On 09-07-13, I told him I needed a status update or I was going to the boards. He replied, "natejeffries | 09/07/2013 5:36 PM
Cards will be sent out this week and don't threaten me. Your Seaver card is an embarassment."
To which I told him he was the embarrassment and that if I did not have my cards in hand by end of mail Saturday (09-14-13) I was going to the boards.
As of today, 09-15-2013, he has marked his end "shipped" but provided no DC and I have no cards.
Natejeffries, I am sending you NOTHING to replace the Sever.
You do not deserve it and you do not belong in this community with this behavior.
I will not tolerate it any longer and neither should anyone else.
To everyone else, please, PLEASE avoid this trader and save yourself a tremendous headache! Anyone who has traded with me knows I am a reliable trader, and any time someone has been dissatisfied or I made an error in the trade, it was promptly rectified to everyone's satisfaction. I hope that my reputation will speak for itself when he inevitably leaves me negative feedback.
