Close? To 3,000? Passed that by 2 weeks ago. I'm at 3,018 right now. Thanks for the help.

Me too. Some are ridiculously priced nowadays, but they look very cool. They went all out trying to make it seem like we were getting quality inserts back then.

Big jersey day!

2010 Topps Triple Threads Emerald #40 /299
Trying for the rainbow on this set, minus the platinum. This makes 3. Looking for the Gold version next.

2010 Epix Materials #12 /299
Sad seeing Favre as both a Packer and Viking on same card.

Love this card..

...but not as much as this one:

2004 Ultra Season Crowns Game Used Copper #23 /349
Ultra was always my favorite set from each year. The design was awesome and clean, and the pictures were clear and crisp. You add a piece of jersey to the front of the card, and you got something special. I also have the silver version /149.

That's all for today. See you tomorrow.

Yes it is. Thanks.

I want to find the one that has a piece of the Packers and Vikings jersey. Haven't seen too many on eBay. That one will be really cool.

Bought more cards off of a friend who is having major money troubles. He might be putting his Aaron Rodgers rookie auto up for trade soon. I feel bad for him, and that's why I keep buying more Favres from him. He doesn't collect Favre anymore, so it's win-win for us.

Today's newest cards:

2008 Topps Chrome Flight to 420 Refractors #BFC438 /199

And I also received one package from eBay

1997 Fleer Thrill Seekers #5
I didn't even know this card existed until two or three weeks ago, along with a few others from the same year. Decided I needed to have it. Popped up on eBay and bid a lower price than I thought I'd get it for. Obviously it all worked out in the end.

That's it for today and for the month. I end August with 3,036 unique Favres.

Digging into the PC tomorrow.

No packages today because it is Sunday. Digging into the PC and showing a couple of 2012 cards I like.

2012 Panini Black Materials Combos Prime #46 /49
Sweet card with one of my favorite receivers of all-time on it.

2012 Topps Magic Pigskin #244 /50

I only need the black version to complete the Magic "Rainbow" for 2012. If anybody has it, please trade it to me. I will definitely trade in your favor.

That's it for today. More PC stuff tomorrow because of the holiday.

Another day with no packages. Darn those federal holidays. Well, at least I didn't have to deliver any packages to other people either.

Here's a little eye candy for today:

2000 Upper Deck MVP Game Used Souvenirs
This was part of my birthday present from my girlfriend. Nice card with a pig chunk of pigskin on it.

Should have 2 or 3 packages tomorrow.

Makes me cringe looking at the Favre's in purple jerseys. The rest are very nice though!
Always in the market to grow my PCs of: Brett Favre, Aaron Rodgers or Dirk Nowitzki. If I have something you like I'll always be willing to trade even for those guys! Send me a message!

I used to have that reaction to when Favre became a Jet. That was when I sold my entire collection, which was about 1800 unique at the time. It didn't help that I needed the money and the wife at the time wasn't willing to give any assistance in the job department.

Started collecting again shortly after that retirement and only slightly paused when I learned that he was signing with the Vikings. Player collectors collect players, no matter what color jersey.

I would have stopped if he'd become a Bear. That's going too far. That's got to be like seeing Jim McMahon or Steve McMicheal in Packers colors.
