Sounds like a waste of time... Time is money bro just cancel it and move on its only going to be you that takes a loss if you sit on this to long, but then again how much time if left on the auction maybe give it a little time before you do and hope someone outbids him.

At least he had the decency to send a message requesting it. Some buyers will just ignore you and never pay. Who knows, maybe it is the truth, I like to give people the benefit of the doubt though..
