2013 Bowman question

2013 Bowman question
Pulled 2 purple rookie cards and one is plain paper and the other has a foil like background. Neither of them are numbered so I'm not sure what I have.

Anybody can help me and explain the difference in the two ?

RE: 2013 Bowman question
You have the basic purple Bowman and you have the purple bowman chrome-probably

RE: 2013 Bowman question
No it's not chrome it's paper the background is just a holo foil.

Quick look on ebay and people are calling them Rainbow Foil. Don't seem to be a huge secondary value for them.

RE: 2013 Bowman question
2013 Bowman has 2 versions of most of the variations, a paper version (the non foil), and a foil (ie, rainbow) version. They also have black versions that area unnumbered, both in a paper and foil version. They even have an purple "ice" version as well, although those are numbered to /10. Not sure if that answers your question, but they are basically different versions like the different Topps Chrome colors (these equating to the Orange unnumbered or something like that)

ETA: Wow, ninja'd!

RE: 2013 Bowman question
Yeah like what they did with the Chasing History set in Topps Baseball. There was a regular paper version and 2 holofoil versions silver and gold.
