Yeah, sorry, I have to agree, if you got the correct number of inserts/hits/etc., Upper Deck is not going to do anything for you.
It's the same principle as if you pulled a Gretzky auto/5 or something ... are you going to send Upper Deck some more money after the fact?
It's gambling, at the end of the day. You lose more often than you win ... that's how the casinos (i.e. card companies) stay in business.
If they gave everybody more value than the box was worth they wouldn't be around very long.
One suggestion would be to save up for a case ... not only is it a heck of a lot of fun, you generally hit enough good stuff to at least feel like it was worth your while.
