What a pain these are for player collectors. I was able to run down the 11 individual ones I needed for my Adam Dunn collection, but I still need the 4 different of Kearns/Dunn/Griffey.






There they are, the 11 different versions. The weird thing is that only the World Series one has the refractor finish. I have seen where other players all had that refractor finish. It's definitely strange. Does anyone else have cards that are foil/refractor, but are a different set than the World Series?

Just in case someone is unaware, these cards came from redemption sets. You had a card and if that team won, you could redeem it for a complete set that stated what is was, ie the Orioles win the AL East and you had the Orioles card. You could send that in for a complete set that would say AL East Champs.

You've made awesome progress on that though player set though.

Good point about the teks. It took me 3-4 years for each of the 3 bonds and 2 r alomar sets I put together

You put together a total of 5 Topps Tek player sets? Holy smokes!!! That had to be super frustrating not to mention expensive.

I am so glad Hershiser doesn't have cards in either of these sets.

I think the average bonds was 2-5.00 and r.alomar 1-3.00 but it was very fun collecting and networking with other tek collectors to reach my goal and a lot of boredom on my hands also........

Ughhhhhhh Im collecting Galarraga right now and he is in the Teks!!!!!! im not even worrying about going for all of them at this point
